INTRODUCTION

Project & Works Department is the back bone of university full engineering service and maintenance department to provide infrastructure and utility services to keep the buildings, roads, water supply system, electricity and sewerage system update and operational. Department have a professional engineers and technical team with support staff to meet the objective of the university.

MISSION

The mission of the project & Works Department is to develop the Lasbela University of Agriculture, water and marine Sciences (LUAWMS) in the field of construction of infrastructure and keep them maintain and operational by facelifting with dedicated technical staff round the clock.

VISION

Provision and improve the infrastructural environment of the LUAWMS campus and its sub campuses for conducive and comfort learning through skilled and dedicated team.

ACTIVITIES

  • Construct, modify and alter the building as per need of the faculty and admin
  • Construct the roads and pathways to easy and comfort access to each point of the university
  • Supply the electricity regular and alternate energy through generators and ups to faculty, admin and residence
  • Supply of drinking water through overhead system by tube wells runs through electricity and solar as well
  • Develop and maintain the sewerage system of all buildings of the university
  • Maintenances of overall structure and other utility services of the university
  • Support & coordination with sister departments of the university
