Faculty of Management and Social Sciences (M&SS) covers a wide range of subjects including
Economics, Political Studies Finance, Management and Sociology. These departments under
Faculty of M&SS are providing the source of learning the social and cultural context, relation
of education to social orders, studying the histories of different countries of the world, national
and international context of the politics and relations, economics of the country and society.
The students are being engaged in innovative and interactive educational experience and are
enabled to apply the academic concepts to the contemporary world issues. The vision of Faculty of M&SS is to attain the excellence by guiding and assisting the students in developing their
capacity of critical thinking and analysis and self and social awareness..
The faculty also seeks to promote the multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary approach for the growth of intellectual capacity of the students, to inculcate ethical values among them, and to guide their behaviour for the community services and development. The faculty also seeks to prepare students to analyse financial, managerial, economic, political and social problems systematically, objectively and to come up with the practical solutions. It seeks to equip students for a wide range of roles in the private as well as public sector. The primary goal is to produce highly competent professional by offering quality education through its academic program. Continuous efforts are being made to realize this goal by providing a unique learning environment in which the faculty and the students share their responsibilities for promoting the process of learning
